How to use this timer
- Decide on the task to be done.
- Set the Pomodoro timer (traditionally to 25 minutes).
- Work on the task until the timer rings.
- Take a short break (5 minutes).
- Every 4 Pomodoros, take a longer break (15-30 minutes).
Why Pomodoro?
The technique uses a timer to break down work into intervals, separated by short breaks. This trains the brain to focus for short periods and helps stay on top of deadlines or long-term tasks.
Customization
While 25/5/15 is standard, feel free to adjust based on your personal energy levels. Some people find 50/10/30 works better for deep technical work.
